Excuses Excuses

Sorry, I haven't been on or posted in a while.  I was feel more sick than normal for a while and I was also really busy with school, cleaning my place, and try to get everything set for the Rammstein concert which I am for sure going to be attending.
Mot much else to update on, other than that I am 100% sure I am going to the show.
Hmm....  I had a math test today and it really beat my ass.  I got about 80% really quick but there were some that took the rest of the class I had left,  I totally forgot how to do them.
My car was acting up the other day and stalled out while I was leaving campus, that made me pretty worried.  I would hate to have to get a new one.  I am pretty attached to my car by now.

Well, I guess that's all for now.  Post again later, I mean it this time.

iPod

Finally went to Best Buy and replaced my iPod Touch.  I got an 32gb iPod Touch 4th gen, I had a 3rd gen.  Luckily I had a warranty on my old one and didn't have to pay too much.  I think all in all I only payed like $60 to replace it.
The last one got all fucked up from an error in the software update.  Syncing it now.  It's so nice to have a working iPod again.  So damn useful!

In other news I think I need to see a doctor.  I've been getting worse.  For the past almost 2 years I have had chronic stomach and abdominal issues, that made me not want to eat and for some time I didn't and if I did I got sick soon after.  So over that time I lost like 30 pounds, not that I'm complaining about losing weight but I don't like losing it that way.
But lately I have been getting head-aches every day and wanting to sleep non-stop.  even if I sleep for 12 hours I could probably lay back down and fall right back to sleep.  However, I can't seem to sleep at night.
And lastly I have just recently noticed that I am getting dizzy from time to time and I can't focus my sight very well.
I have an appointment to see my eye doctor soon and I will see if there is a problem with my eyes but I don't know.  I am hoping to get contacts this visit.  But I am concerned about my eyes because my dad is pretty much blind in one of his eyes.  Shit sucks.

Well that's all for now, post again later.

Fun End to a Nice Day

Was a long day but pretty good (for me).  All my classes seemed to go pretty well.
Had an awesome dinner; ham, cheese, and jalapeno omelet and hash-browns!
Then my buddy came over and we worked on cleaning all this shit up, got pretty far for one night.  Still have some work to do though.  Might even get some more done or finished tonight.
Currently watching "Red vs Blue" by Rooster Teeth.  If you haven't heard of it or seen it or something made by them you really need to.  Shit is very funny and epic.  Here is a link.

Still no news as to how much it's going to cost to go to the Rammstein concert.  I'll keep you all filled in.

That's it for now, post again later!

School Shooting in Texas

Just found out about some breaking news after getting home from my morning class.
It seems as if there was a shooting at the University of Texas.
From what I hear there was at least one suspect that opened fire with an automatic AK-47 in the campus library.  From all I am hearing there are no by-standers killed in his assault but one thing is clear: and that is the shooter is dead from what seems to be self-inflicted gunshot wounds.  The campus is still on lock-down and the authorities are searching for a second gunman, due to different descriptions of the gunman.
If you want to read more check this link.  I am sure there will be more soon.

In my morning news, it was rainy and I had a quiz in my morning class that I was not prepared for.
Also, thanks to some stranger I was not pulled over.  He flashed his brights at me to warn me there was a cop in the drive to my left running a speed trap.  I do the same and I implore everyone else to as well.  We all need to look out for out fellow drivers.

Well that's all for now; post again later.

My Day in a Nut Shell

So, today may have been the best day of my life.  I found out some of the best news I have ever heard today not long after my last post.
I was researching for something to post on my other blog, a Rammstein Fan blog and I found out that Rammstein is going to be having a concert in the US for the first time in 10 years!  Needless to say I have already made up my mind that I am going, no matter what.
The next good thing about it, is that it's going to be in NYC at Madison Square Garden, which is only like a 9 or 10 hour drive!
The tickets go on pre-sale October 8th and I am going to get one.  I am trying to get some friends and my brother to go.  But if nothing else I will get a ticket and one of my friends is going with me just to go to NYC.  I am super psyched about this!

In other news I would like to once again thank everyone for the support.
My mother seems to be doing well.  She just needs to learn to listen to the doctor's orders and not try to work so much.  I'm worried she will rip her stitches because she keeps insisting on doing things she shouldn't.
Also, the soc test wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be and the evening played out pretty well.

Well, I guess that's all for now.  Post again tomorrow.

Two Milestones Reached!

I got on to look at the blog this afternoon and I see that I have hit the 10 followers milestone and the 500 view milestone on this page.
Thanks to everyone that is coming to see my blog and commenting and supporting me!

In recent news I have a sociology test this evening and I'm not sure if I'm ready.  I think I get the material just not sure if I get it enough, y'know?  That and I have my math class today and I have yet to do the work from last week let alone this week!  I need to get to work on that soon.  have until 5, when I have to leave but it's so damn boring.....
Also, it's workout day.  Have to get that in before I go and have time to shower before I leave for class.  Damn, my procrastination!

Well, that's all I got for right now.  Post back later.

Thanks For the Positive Support Everyone!

As I said in the title, thank you all for the support.  It seems as if the bedbugs ARE gone.  But we will see in the coming weeks.
As for my mother, she is supposed to be getting out of the hospital today, but she has yet to be discharged.
They said, they want her to eat there before she leaves.  But the doctor said all looked well and that they don't think it spread and they think they got it taken care of.   Now the incisions just need to heal, and that should take a few weeks.  So she won't be working (at least she shouldn't be) working for a while.
My place is still a mess, I haven't finished or even gotten back to cleaning my desk.
I think I might have a mild case of hoarding compulsion.  I see this stuff and don't think I should get rid of it but I know i won't use it.
I just need somebody to come here and throw it out for me.

I also want to tell you all about a book.  I have been reading this book for a few days now.  And I just think everyone needs to know.....  just how absolutely shitty this book is.
The book is "Life in Year One: What the World Was Like in First-Century Palestine" This book is just terrible.  I am having to read it for my World Civilizations class for a report, and I would not recommend it to anyone that I didn't hate.  The author "Scott Korb" cannot stay on topic, his writing style is shit, it's hard to read, he is unprofessional, he doesn't present the book in the standard historian way, and he at one point in the book says that he will be using his imagination to fill in parts he doesn't know for fact.  That last one just makes this book worthless.  A historian should never write something in to be fact that he has no evidence for.  How can i tell by what I am reading what is true fact and what is made up by him?  I can't making this book useless in the sense that you cannot learn anything from this book with any amount of certainty.  He also loved putting in these huge foot notes that take up half a page.  That is not how footnotes are supposed to be used.  Often times in these footnotes, he didn't stay on topic either.  And many times the entire footnote had nothing to do with the thesis of the section I was reading.
That concludes the book review portion of my blog.

Well, I think that's it for now, post back later!
